Thanks for becoming my friend. I too was diagonosed with stage 3C Ovarian Cancer. I had 6 rounds of Gemzar/Carbo then 3 rounds of Cistplatin. Was in remission for 6 months. It came back. Finished 6 rounds of chemo, Gemzar and Carbo. Numbers went down until 5th round when Ca 125 started creeping up again. They are considering changing the type of chemo that I am recieving. I was lucky. So far no hair loss. Thank you sooooo much for the friend invite. It looks as if we have some of the same friends already. Have a Great Day.

Diagnosd at age 47 with Stage IIIC Ovarian Cancer. Radical hysterectomy followed by 6 rounds carbo/taxol. Recurrence 5 mos. later, followed by weekly carbo/taxol. 2 years remission! Yahoo! Recurrence and 2nd look surgery 1/06 followed by I/P chemo cisplatin/taxotere..awful! Remission for 8 mos. Spent this last year in chemo, but am now in remission AGAIN! PRAISE GOD!
