As of last night.... We have electricity!!! yes!! finally!! now maybe the grocery store and the gas station next to our house will open up today. It has truley been miserable the last few days in the 90+ degree heat with no airconditioning. I had actually been holding off paying the mortgage untill either we got power, or until this afternoon to see if i needed to buy a generator. The original projection had us without power for three weeks, but these power guys both from in-state and out of state worked around the clock and got the job done way ahead of schedual. This is such a load off of my mind, escpecially since i am leaving tomorrow for another gig. Now we just gotta keep an eye out on Hurricane Ike as he enters the Gulf.
Geez.

i don't know how you live there. i really don't. I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO YOU ORLEANEANS... and i can't imagine your work schedule. MY head hurts thinking about it. but... you seem to have all your marbles together. maybe not, all aligned... but together. there is something to be said about that. not sure what... but something. glad your family & house was safe.
