Well this Sunday i'm off to Minneapolis, to help with the video production side of the Republican convention. Of course just as i am supposed to be leaving a hurricane is predected to hit near the mouth of the Mississipii. I've got a safe place for my familly to run to if it comes to that, but it seems that everytime i leave there is a hurricane. I was in D.C. the day before Katrina hit, and in Orlando when Rita came by. I am trying to get it together enough so that i can prepare the house and the vehicals before i leave. Its just so hard to focus. I think i should take some time out today to go to the state run Mental health clinic today and get evaluated, and give them my current therapists recomondations that i take meds so that i can get it together and be usefull. I've been saying that for a week. I have time right now if i leave now...
I'll finish up my thought later, i am going to try to do this.

Yes, take good care of yourself, then you can take care of others. I'll be watching it on the news and hoping it steers clear of you and your family.
That's a cool job you have, do you usually work with Video or Politics or both?
I hope everything goes well at the clinic, Hope they give you the pills you need.
Wishing for you clarity and peace.

yea, while i would never wish it on anyone else i do hope it avoids our area. Just started boarding up some windows today. (by the time i know for sure where it is going to hit i'll be in Mineapolis). I get paid tomarrow so i'll be able to get some more plywood and do the rest.
I went to this Mental Health clinic, and while i was waiting in the loby they play a DVD PBS special on depression.

I mean i suppose it was a good documentary, but why on earth play something like that? I ended up having to leave. I didnt tell anyone why. Well at least i got my paper work in the system. When i get back i'll try again... with earplugs.
As for the job. I am a video engineer / director. Basically i work conventions. From political convintions to digestive deseas conventions. Some are increadably boaring, while others are actually interseting. Next week i'll be in Phoenix working on the Industrial Design Society of America. They have some really cool talks, and i get to see some of the inventions that arnt really out on the market yet. After that it gets back to boaring with the National Convention of Bankrubtsy Judges in Scottsdale. That one tests your endurance to stay awake while they painstakingly explaine all of the finer points of bankrubtsy law. ugh.
Well thats all for now. I gotta get back to work and get everything in order.

i know it's not funny, but i had a LMAO moment when i read your words, "it seems that everytime i leave there is a hurricane. I was in D.C. the day before Katrina hit, and in Orlando when Rita came by."... just the way you phrased it... sorry. I WILL BEHAVE. (slightly). ~ Jo
