I'm normally a very healthy eater but once or twice a week I fall into a vicious cycle of over eating... it makes me feel so horrible about myself. I've tried talking to my friends about it but they don't really understand how this could be a problem. I really need a support center that understands what I'm going through.
In high school I developed a very skewed image of myself--I believed that I was grossly fat and began to restrict... in college I got down to 90lbs and the cycle has continued from then... I'm also a binge eater--obviously an advancement from anorexia. I tend to over exercise and restrict in order to compensate.
I'm a VERY healthy eater but when I do slip up I slip up bad--which leads to binging for me. I need to stick to my guns and keep up my old habits...
I've been a vegetarian for 8 years, I was a vegan for about a year but the strict diet aided in my ED and I had to go back to a less restrictive diet. I hope to return to veganism since it's everything I believe in
