Affected Areas: Psoriasis of the SkinHad psoriasis for years, covered from head to toe.
Treatments
- Coal Tar Not Working
- Worked at first but not for very long, And it stinks!!
- Dovonex Not Working
- Worked a little but thinned skin quickly.
- Phototherapy Not Working
- Has PUVA and UVB. Put me in remission for all of two weeks, not worth it. Painful when I got burns and made me ill, tired, nauseous. Particularly so with PUVA.
- Betamethasone (Topical) Somewhat Helpful
- Worked for small patches.
Open Depression
Treatments
- Celexa Not Working
- I went crazy. Severe memory loss. Showed symptoms of multiple personality disorder whilst on meds.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Considering
- Prozac Somewhat Helpful
- Didn't work unless in high dosage but then it made me emotionally numb. Great not feeling pain but the emptiness and lack of love killed me inside.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- Had five counsellors/support workers, only one helped but she got a new job so now back on a waiting list.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- Had no affect on me.
- Writing Somewhat Helpful
