I was diagnosed in '84 at the age of 25. I had quite a time convincing the doctors there was something wrong. I went into remission really quick one properly medicated but then 3 years later it reared its ugly head and it has been an up and down battle ever since, I had to have a resection in 2002 but couldn't quite recover. I became more ill in 2005 and had to have a feedng tube put in.
I have battled with loneliness most of my life. I thought I had pretty well made it through and was doing better until I was hit with a chronic disease that took me out of the work force and even out of church services and so there is little to no contact with anyone.
I have struggled for years,31 to be exact, with money and making ends meet but have found lots of ways to stretch money and make ends meet so I would be glad to offer our experiences to anyone who may need help. I know how scary it is when there is not enough money to get through the week, especially when you have children. My first husband expected me to feed 5 of us on 10 to 20 a week. I bought a budgeting book but learned to write down EVERY penny you spend to see where your money is going.
I have battled with depression for over 35 years on and off. Due to some mild brain damage due to viral encephalitis at the age of 2 1/2 I have a difficult time staying on as even keel. High highs and very low lows!
