Close Diverticulitis
A little less than 2 years ago I wound up in the hospital with a perforated ulcer. After I went home they ran all of the tests but they could not find a hole or a scar in my stomach. After a colonoscopy I was told that I had diverticulosis. I was bothered with a constant pain in my right side. Now, I've just had an attack of diverticulitis. Wonder if that was my problem 2 years ago?
Close Epilepsy & Seizures
50 year old woman who has suffered from complex partial seizures all my life.
Treatments
- Ativan Not Working
- brought on seizures instead of controlling them.
- Keppra Working / Worked
- So far so good. Seizures are not under control completely but enough for me.
- Klonopin Not Working
- Did not help at all. Turned me into a zombie.
- Tegretol Somewhat Helpful
- Helped a little but put on tons of weight and was sleepy all the time.
- Trileptal Somewhat Helpful
- Put on alot of weight and was in a fog all day.
Open Arthritis
Have been dealing with degererative joint disease for a few decades now. Cortozone shots have made a great difference in the last year or two.
Treatments
- Feldene Somewhat Helpful
- It helped a little but I had to get off of it when I developed an ulcer.
- Glucosamine/Chondroitin Not Working
- Did not help at all.
- Naproxen Not Working
- Did not help and hurt my stomach.
- Surgery, Knee Replacement Somewhat Helpful
- Had arthoscopic surgery twice on my right knee. It only helped for a short while.
- Tylenol Working / Worked
- About the only thing that helps with the everyday pain.
Open Degenerative Joint Disease
Have been dealing with degenerative joint disease for a few decades now.
Open Hiatal Hernia
Been having trouble for two years.
Open High Blood Pressure
Have had high blood pressure for decades. Took a long time to get it down but I finally have.
Treatments
- Atenolol Somewhat Helpful
- did not control it
- Diltiazem Working / Worked
- works in conjunction with my other meds.
- Dyazide Working / Worked
- works along with my other bp meds
- Metoprolol Working / Worked
- When added to my other meds it brought my pressure right down.
Open Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionWas dx last year after having a nagging pain in my right side that would not go away. I was very adament that I wasn't depressed but I realize now that I was wrong.
Treatments
Open Gastric Bypass Surgery
David is now 2 1/2 months post surgery.
