Hi everyone. Just wanted to ask some of you about muscle spasms. I seem to be having them all the time in my legs and right arm. If I am putting on mascara with my right hand and turn a certain way with my hand, I will spasm all the way up to my elbow. If I lift my leg in back of me and you know that exericise where you lift your leg to try to touch your foot to your butt - well I hardly bend it up and my leg spasms from my knee all the way up to my butt. REALLY SPASMS. I will get a "charlie horse" spasm in calves but they don't go away for days. The soreness and limping remains. I have no idea if this is related to something else or if it is FIBRO related. Just wanted some of your wonderful feedback. Thank you so much. SUE

Oh dear, that does not sound good. Get yourself to the doctor. It probably is fibro related. Of course, if you've started on a new medication, it could be a side effect of that. Don't go on like this without seeing a doctor. Keep me posted. Hugs and prayers, Mugsini.

I haven't started any new meds and don't take any for FIBRO. I don't know what is causing it but I am seeing an endochronologist for other things and I will mention this to him next week. I did go to the doctor - should have said that in my journal entry. She said I need to exercise more. I had to quit Curves for six weeks because of the spasms and why NOW do I have these no matter what I am and/or not doing. Weird. Thanks for answering. I really appreciate that. Hi there, I get them too! According to Dr. There are two nerves that get pinched in my spine. One works from lower back into my right leg, and the other from my sholder blades in to my left arm. Lots of physio and manipulation has helped. An orthopeadic and physiotherapist together managed to get my going again. Hope the advice will be of some help.
