I told the girls what Michael J Fox said:
"When your first baby drops his pacifier on the floor you run quick and boil it.
When your second baby drops her pacifier on the floor you run it under hot water and hand it back to her.
When your third baby drops her pacifier on the floor you lick it and pop it back in her mouth.
When your fourth baby drops his pacifier you let the dog lick it."

When I was younger, probably early teens, my sister told me you really love a child when you pick up a lolly pop they've dropped, suck on it and give it back clean. I told her I wouldn't love my children enough!
