I am so proud of myself. Not only did I find the museum without getting lost, I made it home from the museum without getting lost!! Steve had Army National Guards so that meant just me and the kids going into the city to find a museum we'd never been to before. It was pretty easy. Just followed the directions and then did it in reverse to get back home.
We stayed about 3.5 hours. It felt like an hour. There were tons of things to see and do. The gift shop was fun too.
The only negative I can think of was when we were in the discovery room this six year old kid had a dinosaur puppet on his hand and he used it's teeth to attack me and my daughters in the boobs, again and again. I thought the attack on the boob was an accident until it happened to all THREE of us girls and the kid kept coming back for more. Finally I screamed like a little girl afraid of a dinosaur attack and then his father paid attention and called his son over.
For all you men that think you can get away with putting a puppet on your hand and go around grabbing bobies with it, forget about it. It is only cute on a six year old.
Although I am pretty sure I saw a proud grin on the father's face. Like he had secretly given his son permisssion to grab as much boob as he could get away with.

Unbelievable! I'm surprised the dad didn't take notice before you complained. I don't think it's even cute in a 6 yr old. I think there's something wrong there. Hope he's not being touched in unwanted places. It's good you were able to have a good sense of humor about it.

Either that or seeing his parents do that stuff. You made it funny but it does make a person wonder a little..
So glad the trip went so well. I know when you go to a new place in the city it can be nerve wracking. Do you homeschool or just like things like that? We home schooled part of their school life and we went to some neat museums.
