So after the funeral today, my neighbor thanked me surprisingly enthusiastically for the casseroles I brought her the other day. I was like, aw, it's nothing. And she said no, that she had not eaten since Saturday (day of the wreck), but her mom put my casserole in the oven and it smelled SO good, she had to have some. Said she had 3 helpings in the next 24 hours. I was verklempt! That made me feel so good. I helped!
