  I am sorry I haven't been around lately. I have been working a lot lately (it's flu and pneumonia season for my patients), and I am having issues with my pain. I am also trying to tie up loose ends so I can start my research project in the spring. Needless to say, I haven't been able to spend much time here on DS (even though I really HAVE been needing to lately). FWIW, I am coping and doing OK. BTW, my cat - the one suspected of having cancer - is doing better now. $1700 for a dx of stomach ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome LOL. So some things are looking up. I appreciate your thoughtfullness.
  
  On your end, I hope your back is doing OK. I was wondering if you are able to get your surgery since you now have insurance. That would be great. Take care.
