I'm in shock right now! I just got back from the OB office and heard the words, Congrats you are pregnant. ME? I couldn't even talk for a minute, and I have no clue what that girl told me after that.... I took Provera a week ago and I was wondering why I stillll hadn't started. I was ready to start so I could try again. But, I'm pregnant! Today is 8 days since I took the last pill of Provera.

I went to the Orthodontist and picked up my new retainer this afternoon, and the OB's office is across the street. So I thought I would just stop by and ask the nurse how long it usually takes after the provera to start my period. My usual nurse is on vacation, so another nurse talked to me. Well, she wanted to do a preg test just in case but said it can take 7-10 days for some women before they start their period. So, I waited in the room for the usual... "It was negative"... but she said "Congrats, you're pregnant!" WHAT?!?! So now I'm trying to figure out when it happened?!?!

My temps didn't go up until I started taking the Provera! So did the extra progesterone make me release an egg?!?! Did I ovulate then and it just happened to be when I started taking the Provera?!?! Did the extra progesterone help the baby implant?!?! I have so many questions and no answers... because only GOD knows! I'm so thankful to him and have been crying and praying all day, just saying thank you!

So now... I'm going to be a 5 ft tall pregnant lady with a retainer! HA, I'll be sure to post pics of that!
