day 43 Mood

almost to my 45 day goal- next goal is 100 days- which is so long, but I don't see any reason to go back to old habits.

I had a great day!

1) Practice went FANTASTIC!  I had energy, landed tons of triple sals, triple toes, and some triple loops. I ran through both long and short with out feeling exausted after, and I just felt on top of my game.

2) Encouraged by the way practice was going and how awesome my body feels- I ate 2000 cals today and didn't restrict at all.

3) I cut down my gym time today, without cutting cals.  I decided, because my 2 hour practice was pretty intense, to only do 1/2 hour of cardio today (burned 260 cals) at a slightly higher level, than my normal hour and a half cardio session (burning 700 cals) I want to feel this good at practice tomorrow.   I am guessing I burned about 500 cals (minnimum) from exercise today, so it'n not like I needed the extra hour (2.5 hours is plenty for someone trying to recover from obsessive exercise! haha)

4) My friend- who knows about my ED, caught me recording calories today.  He said "I need to start holding you accountable for this," But we decided he would let me count for a couple weeks, until 2000-2500 cals became a habit.  Then I would have to stop counting.  The thought scares the crap out of me though.  I hope I can let it go eventually.  But I'm not ready yet.

Anyway.  Love you all.

You will be able to let it go eventually. Look how far you've come, and remember where you've come from. You're in a beautiful place now, and I know you're strong enough to stay there.

Tackle down one challenge at a time. You've managed to cut back on your exercise, which is so wonderful! The calorie counting can be your next obstacle to overcome.
I hope you have an even more successful day tomorrow!
