Guys one day closer to freedom!
I'm setting a new goal 3 months binge free. Because if I do that I'm medically concidered "cured" of BED. (Even though I honestly don't think I'm have BED because of all the issues with restriction and over exercise but thats besides the point) I think I would have to throw myself a party because I have only gone that long once with an ED, when I was very underweight at my worst state of female athlete triad. I didn't binge at all for that 6 months period. But after that binging was a pretty regular thing (couple times a month) for the past 3 and 1/2 years. I'm excited. I feel like I could finally do this.
Yesterday was better. 2000 calories, and 1 hour of skating. I did walk around campus, and went to the mall with some friends and shopped and played lazer tag, but I think 2000 calories was a good amount for yesterday and I'm not letting myself feel bad for having a short practice and not going to the gym and still consuming my usual amount of training calories. I have 2 days off- which will feel great for my legs (it still hurts to walk) But not gonna lie I really want to cut back. I feel pretty huge. But I'm not letting ED tell me that. I'm not cutting back. I need to heal so 1800-2000 calories this weekend.
Oh yeah- I had ice cream yesterday and didnt binge. It was tempting to binge yesterday- but nope I didnt because I want to refuel myself slowly and healthily. I've been on a major dairy kick. Craving milk, cheese, and ice cream like crazy. I must need the calcium or something. I still haven't gotton my period. Yes- it's been 4 months now. Must be from the over training. (cause there is no possible way I'm preggers haha) I'm going to get that checked out I think.

It wasn't confusing. You sound like you are handling ed pretty well, even though I know it's tough at times. I just really want you to beat this. My ed made me quit skating, and I would hate for that to happen to you. You probably haven't gotten your period because you're burning off too many calories. You may think you are comsuming too such some days, but I really think you are burning off more then you think you are. Athletes need about 4000 calories a day, so basically you need to double what you are comsuming now. I never got my period until after I stopped skating, so I think you are fine, but still get it checked out to make sure.

Woohoo on the icecream part, that takes major balls. Oh and I noticed you said you are craving lots of dairy stuff. Well,I don't really get my period (only had it a couple of times), and that's how I get just before it starts. I'll go nuts with milk and cheese, like I just can't get enough of it lol.

that is brill- you have done amazing. Well done on not binging that can be so so hard, you are a star. Dont get my period either am concious that i should get it checked but have not got round to it yet, but would really recommend you do. You are doing brill though- so proud of you girl! xx
