Hey guys! The skating competition went really well! My goal was to go for both double axels and the triple sal and to get a personal best score in the new International Judging System (IJS) My short program I did pretty well,I had one fall on the double axel but other wise good. I was in 8th after the short (with 15 girls) Then my long I skated fantastic, Landed triple sal, one fall on one double axel but everything else was solid. I placed 6th in the long and had a personal best score! Even though I didn't place all that high I was so happy because this is a veryyy tough competition. (The girl who won was from Japan...) There were people from all over.. at least 5 countries represented. Lots from pretty well known training centers. Everyone was fantastic in my group, no one stood out as being a weak skater. Everyone had double axel and at least one triple. The top 5 had triple toe and triple loop. The girl from Japan had all triples (except axel) and a fantastic triple lutz. Everyone had their program coreographed for IJS and had excellent spins and transistions, everyone expressed the music (usually where I stand out a lot) So I did come in 3rd in my components mark (coreography, transisitions, skating skills, expression, speed, edge quality, character of the music) So I was very happy- that score was only 2 points lower than the girl from Japan! Anywaysss I'm boring you all.

Yay!! I'm SOOOO glad things went well!! Your past few journal entries have all been bright green smiley faces and that makes me so happy!! And haha, I have no idea what the hell you just said but I read it all any ways cuz I love ya!! And OOOOOHH I know what a triple lutz is!! lmao!!
