still no nibs but he'll be home.
thanksgiving is on thursday. i feel a little apprehensive about having to sit at the table. i feel like i will be too uncomfortable to eat. when i am doing something that is out of my comfort zone, i tend to not have an appetite. but w/e. whatever happens, happens. i'm sure it'll all go well no matter what.
jeremy has a hearing on dec 1 about his license. he has a lot of points i guess even though we don't know how much he actually has. i called around to 12 different defensive driving course places and found one for the 28th. they usually ship the certificate out on the following mon but a woman who works there said she's drive it over there herself so jeremy can have the certficate to remove 3 points off his license in his hand for his hearing. that's great. if he lost his license, we'd be so screwed. really really screwed. he works 2 hours away and i don't have a license. i'd hate to even think about what would happen.
ok. gotta go and change my bunnies' litter box and put makeup on etc. later.
today i went to jeremy's sister's baby shower that i have been so anxious about. it takes about an hour 15 min to get there. i thought i would work myself into a frenzy during the drive over there. when we first got into newburyport, we had to wait for 30 min at jeremy's grandma's house. then we decided to just leave and go to the party. then when we got there, jenn and jeremy left to go get steve. they were gone for an hour. i didn't spend any time with jeremy the whole time we were there. the first 3 hours, from 10:30-1:30, i was just sitting and talking to jeremy's two little sisters. 3 hours of waiting for jill and the other guests to arrive. that would usually have made me anxious but nope. then jeremy left at the end while i was helping clean up and he asked me to get a ride to steve's house with his grandma and i did and it was easy. the whole day was easy and fun. i seriously thought it would be a catastrophe. i thought i would panic and have a horrible time and be counting down the minutes until i could go home. its weird though b/c i am happy i did so well but i am not overjoyed. just nonchalant. hmm. interesting. i def would have been pretty upset if there had been a different outcome. yay me! makes me feel a lot better about thanksgiving. thank you god. my prayers have been answered.

The Sun
