icd update Mood

Tuesday, September 29, 2009 | A General Update story

Got to the hospital to have the icd unit put in and about 11:30 they said they were having trouble with the insurance company not wanting to cover the procedure. they final got everything cleared and they brought me to the operating room about 1:30. the the anesthesiologist did want to do it because of my cold. They finally decided to give me a breathing treatment to help clear my lungs and gave me steroids and did the procedure under minimal sedation. Everything went well and I was released from the hospital at 8:30. I'm a little sore and black and blue but other than that I'm fine.
