Went to the emergency room yesterday with chest pains. They thought it might be another heart attack but it turn out to be the damage from the previous heart attacks. They couldn't explain the chest pains but decided to keep me over night to observe me. They tried nitro to relieve the pain but that didn't work so they gave me morphine. They kept giving a patch with nitro paste on it all night and that left me feeling very weak when they released me this morning. I got home and slept for 6 hours. Went to see the arrhythmia consultant last Tuesday and he said that since my heart function was down by half since he last seen me that I need the ICD implant. I go back into the hospital on Monday to have it put in.

Oh wow, they sure do things quick where you are, it took 8 months before they put my ICD in, but that was Doctors fault, my ef has gone from 24 to 33, they call my ICD my Life Insurance policy, I've had mine since 2006, can't do much for the first 10 weeks but after that you are good to go...well good luck and I hope all goes well...Maggy

thanks it took me over a year to get it before my ef was 39 and they wouldn't do it. now it's down to 27. they are putting it in Monday and wouldn't you know it I'm coming down with a cold
