I have been thinking about you, sending healthy well wishes your way. This Lyme roller coaster we are on sure sucks, yet I BELIEVE we will get better. It is wonderful that we have each other to lean on and offer support. Please let me know how you are, what is happening with you as soon as you are able to! I know it is hard when to communicate for some people when times are not so great - just know I am here and always willing to listen and help if I can. Many hugs, Alana
Hi Pete I hope your making good progress, I have been trying a mixture of Flaxseed oil and whole milk first thing in the morning, I think it helps!! Dave :)
Just a quick note to let you know I am thinking about you and wishing good health your way. Please let me know how things are for you when you can! Many hugs!
Hi Peter! I wanted to check in with you and see how you are. I keep looking for your journal entries and am pleased that you are having successes. Please keep me posted, lots of hugs and prayers!
Peter, Thanks for your post on smoothies. Have you cone across carrot celery and tomato juice together on ice with a touch of lemon, or strawberries mmango and banana its delux. If you put a raw egg in your smoothie in the morning you turn it into a protien shake. Also you can add calcium powder for those who are dairy intollerant and you have a recipe for great health. As I grow older I am realising the importance of calcium replacment for my bones and protien for sustaining my strong muscle mass. Another thing I do is mix a bit of the vegetable fibre that my juicer seperates into the drink. Fibre helps the GI tract and lower bowel. Fibre is key in avoiding colon cancer etc Thanks again for your post, youv'e inspired me to brainstorm winter smoothies. Its winter here in Oz. Will let you know of some creations. Cheers Al
I work in a warehouse, which is very physical labor and you have to be in excellent health. I missed a couple of weeks of work in the spring because of a 'flu' which I was later diagnosed with Lyme. After 30 days of antibiotics, the lyme is gone, but I'm still very weak and stiff in the joints, ears ringing, headaches, etc. My doctor can't figure out why I'm not healed since the lyme is gone, so I thought I'd come here to see if anyone can shed light on my situation. I need to get back to work - I can't afford this!
