Thanks for the hug and info. I've not been on methotrex? - good luck with that. So far I have no side affects from remicade. Perhaps a little tired. As for facial hair, I could grow an upper lip forest! Hate it. Do you have numbness and swelling in your face? I know prednisone gives moon face but I've been off it for a couple weeks now. Does entocort do that to you? Have a great day.

Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
I've had crohns since I was 10, 31 years ago. 3 ressections later, I've been in remission (I thought) for 11 years. Well, it's back and with a vengence according to my GI series. I've been recommended to try Remicade, but yikes, side effects of Lymphoma and other illnesses, who wants to take this chance? I want to meet people over the internet on this drug treatment to give me their outlook.
Treatments
- Asacol Working / Worked
- don't really know. I feel ok but active disease is back
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- so far so good.
- Entocort Working / Worked
- hate it but is working. Gives you facial hair YUCK! Looking forward to getting off this one.
