About Me
I have been a stay at home mom other than a few odd jobs while kids were in school.Have 2 grown Children and 1 grandaughter 19 months old :-D I was always quite athletic pre-lung disease. Hubby is now semi-retired. We enjoy camping, used to love long difficult hikes..sigh ;_;....and of course God is my best friend my great hope>^.^

Interests
My family is my greatest interest. I also draw and paint and play on the computer. Love video games. I am playing WOW. I'm on Malygos and blackrock servers. I enjoy reading and what gardening I'm still able to do.

thank you breathless I don't know if this haas any thing to with the disease but I have a lot of gas and I pass a lot of gas do you know if there is a connection

Close Pulmonary Fibrosis
I have a complicated dx of PF. I know the progression of discovering you have a debilitating, chronic, life threatening, untreatable, incurable disease; fear, depression, anger, sadness. Hope I can be of help someone here.
Treatments
- Prayer Working / Worked
- Prayer gives me a sense of peace and purpose. It never fails that I breathe better after being prayed over in Church.

- Prednisone Working / Worked
- It seemed to at first, but now not It feels like I'm getting worse. They are making me nuts too. The inhaled Steroids are helpful though. I don't think I could get by without that.
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- just started this 9-14-08. I'm told it may take 6 weeks to know if it is having any effect. Side effects look scary, but hoping for the best.
Close Non-hodgkin's Lymphoma
I was diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome with RA about 12 years ago.6 years ago I was diagnosed with NHL. I am stable and untreated on W&W. I have a lung disease that is baffling the best minds in pulmonary medicine. I am a child of God and know that all things are working to the good for me.
