My goal weight is to lose 25 pounds and the last few pounds are just not budging. I can only walk short distances because of my knees. I am patient tho and will keep praying for the Lord's help. I can always count on Him!
Gloomy weekend in North Coast. Love and best wishes to all. God bless.

Add your supportMonday : Today John is being buried,an American soldier who fought overseas and came back home safely - married a lovely girl and then walked into a closet and shot himself dead.
Did not anyone notice he needed help -that he was broken by that terrible war in Afghanastan- that (my opinion) will never end and there will be no winners.
I pray for his Mom &Dad-his young bride of one week and all the young(so young) men
who are still over there.
I feel the world is a bit smaller-empty and meaner.
I do pray but don't understand why.

I can't believe summer has finally arrived on the Northcoast! Everyone was thinking we would get summer in Oct. Now maybe the grandkids can finally use the pool. Wish I could-LOL!
I f I have a good nites sleep I feeel refreshed also if there is stress(very high lately) I feel real pain rising. Then I have to take inventory and find out what is my problem. This is always a challenge. I have been in deniel so many years I don't know how to get hold of myself. The family has been in control so long.
I find it harder & harder to organize my meds. The DR. keeps switching them. I am forgetting what they are for. I NEED TO ORGANIZE> This will take a lot of time and effort . No one to help me.
I am praying for guidence more and more. PTL.

Lillian, your journal touched my heart. I don't know if this is a relative, a friend or someone you heard about. But it really makes no difference. It is still tragic. Sometimes if we are not affected personally by the news that we see on TV or read in the paper we tend to rationalize that it doesn't touch us but it should touch us all. I do know that we are losing so many men and woman in these wars and I am not sure when it will end either. I will keep you in my prayers and as always special prayers for our soldiers wherever they may be. Hugs
