I have started taking yoga one day a week as my wife is really into it. She does 5 to 6 times a week. I find it very helpful if I'm in the right class. Didn't know there are so many different typs of yoga. At 65 I enjoying eith a 1-2 class or a restoritive which is stretching. I am not into the poses but do find the stretching great. Already see a difference in my body. It is also a great help with stress. I'll shre more when I progress.
Ageing really sucks. I am a 63 year old healthy guy with a slightly overweight body 6'2" 216 and very active. I swim 3 times a week, most weeks, and try to work out at the gym 1 to 2 times a week. My one nagging problem is ostioarthritis. My fingers are becoming crooked and I have stiff and painful joints several days a week. I take anti inflamatories but don't like taking them too often, due to the effect they have on the liver.
So I just try to not think about the pain and realize that there are people in a lot more pain than me and they function in spite of it. So I just try to keep going and stay positive.
