About Me
I am 22 years old, was married last year to the man of my dreams, and gave birth to my first son on September 16, 2009. We are very thankful for our baby boy after suffering a miscarriage last year (2008). I am a Licensed Practical Nurse, I graduated December 2008 so I haven't gotten much experience before I got stuck on medical leave while pregnant. I planned on going back as a casual around 6 months, but now that my little guy is here I don't ever want to go back!!

Hey, I saw your post on the board. It sounded like your friend is just jealous. Don't stress too much about it. There are friends worth keeping and some that are not. there's no point hanging out with people who just wants to put you down! hope that helps!

do you know what you are having? Congrats on becoming an LPN =) I'm taking one day at a time now and I'm glad to have helpful classmates or else I don't know how to get thru pregnancy while in nursing school.

Thanks were happy about knowing the gender either way we would have been as excited. Im happy that you can feel the baby move and have received lots of baby stuff. Im still super scared to buy or get anything related to the baby. I wish I could just get through my head that this is indeed a differnt pregnancy and that things will be okay this time around. But enough about me. How are you feeling today. Hows the baby? I read your journal, do you kinda have a feeling of what might the gender be?

Close Miscarriage
I had a miscarriage in February, I had just started bleeding the day before my doctor's appointment, and my dr. checked my cervix and said it was still closed, which was a good sign, but sent me to get my hormone levels checked anyways. The bleeding got progressively worse, and I noticed I seemed to be passing what looked like small clots. I went to the hospital 2 days later & had an ultrasound & my hormone levels re-checked, and I had miscarried. Fortunately I didn't have to have a D&C.
Treatments
- Running Working / Worked
- It isn't a scientific approach, but when I feel depressed or start to feel down, I go for a run, and sometimes find a quiet spot on my run to just sit & look out at the lake, or just a nice peaceful spot where I can think about everything. Or if I don't want to think about it, and need to clear my mind, I just keep running.
Close Diets & Weight Maintenance
in 2007 I was at my highest weight- 286 lbs. I lost 50 lbs. just by eating healthier and going on the treadmill/ doing weights. Then I started Herbalife and lost an additional 22 lbs. Now with school & stress, I can't seem to keep up with my Herbalife regime or my exercise routine! I'm getting married in March and am starting to get nervous about fitting into my dress- which I don't get until January!!! :S

- When I first moved to Kelowna I established a running route for myself along the lake and it was about 6 km. I did it 3 times a week and that was working well for me I would time myself and try to improve my times each run but lately I just have NO motivation
Open Pregnancy
I am pregnant for the second time in the past 2 years, and am due September 7, 2009. I'm getting married on March 28th so a little nervous about dress fitting, but very excited about the pregnancy!

- Helps ease stress my fiancee I walk together to get out of the house and talk its just relaxing

I had a m/c in March 2008 and am currently expecting our first in September 2009!
