last night was the worse ever for me. my ribs have been giving me all sorts of shite. had just eaten tea (what little i could), next thing a hot flush hits me like a bomb, i feel it coming up my feet all the way through my body (as it does), i was talking myself through it in my head so not to freak my husband out (that so did not work). i felt like i was getting hotter i put my hand in my pj top and my tank top was stuck to my body with sweat. i had to get my pjs off quickly i was burning up the pain in my ribs was unbearable (i have never felt any thing so bad before), i thought i was going to die on the eve of our 2nd wedding anniversary. my husband had to ring an ambo ( i would never have made it to the hospital with out them). they gave me a morphine shot on the way into town, and i was sucking on the laughing gas the whole time (without that i would not have made it done the street the pain was increasing and i was scared). got to the A&E, had to wait for ages was real busy for a monday night ( the swine flu has hit the city quite hard so was freaking out about that too).

had another shot of morphine at the hopsital my pain intensifide by like heaps i was crying my eyes out. they did bloods and everything came back fine (liver function test, and 2 more tests but cant remember what they were for lol), (like they always do), i had a chest xray done , that came back fine to. the dr decided to try my pancrise (sp) and that came back at 53% when 50% is normal, she said that if it was just any joe blogs that didnt have a chronic condition she would worry about it , but since i do, i have to go to my gp on thurs for more bloods to keep an eye on my pancrise (sp) levels as elevated levels can led to pancritis (sp). so yay for my more bloods to be taken.

the dr said my rib pain was from having a cough for the last year and nothing getting done about it. so she has given me condine and ibuprofen for the pain and would you believe it its working. i was taking 3 pethidine a day and it did nothing?????????? what does that tell you?

SO tonight i am going to return to my bed for the first time in almost weeks ( ive been sleeping out on the papasan as was way to sore to be able to get comfortable in bed), and its our 2nd wedding anniversary today ;-) yay for us. we were in A&E for 10 hours i had my husband with me and my mum came also. i am very lucky ;-)
