Journal Entry for June 3, 2008
I lost my cool again today with my husband. He wouldn't get up. I tried to get him up at 1 o'clock. I made him lunch. …
I'm 26; married and have three children. Two girls, ages 8 and 4, and a son 4 months old. I am currently a stay at home mom and a part-time college student with 30 credits to go before graduating. I'm majoring in psychology and minoring in history. I hope to continue my education and pursue a degree in occupational therapy. I joined this site because of the struggles that my husband and I deal with as a result of his illness bipolar disorder and just the everyday stresses that can accompany life in general.

My interests are trying to spend more time in my daily walk with God as I am a born again Christian. Spending time with my family. I love school! I know that sounds lame; but I like to learn about new things. I also like to read. I love to exercise for stress relief and I think that I would like to take some photography classes.

Hello: I'm a 26 year old female, married for 8 1/2 yrs. My husband has bipolar. Hes had it since 2001. He's had three episodes all ending in pychosis. This last episode caused him to miss the birth of our son. Now four months later, he struggles to get out of bed. This has been his first bout with the depression part. It's so hard for us trying to finish our degrees and raise three kids. I feel like he just wants to give up on us. Sometimes I get so angry with him for not getting out of bed.
