It is going to be years of recovery. I have chronic pain issues and I am only 20 years old! Headaches and back pain have landed me in the ER more times than I can count. My depression has recently become severe as well. I have some OCD tendencies and rage problems.

I love watching E televesion. I used to ride horses, and have a Thoroughbred that is being leased out. I'm into cars as well, as before my dad died he raced ProStock. I love reading but have to wait until summer when I can get away from the textbooks!

My fiance sustained a severe TBI in June 2006. He was comatose for 4-6 weeks depending on the neurologist. He continues to improve at a very slow but steady pace.
I have suffered from depression since age 11, when I lost my father to suicide. I have been battling it ever since. I have recently suffered my most severe episode, and for the first time was unable to function.
I developed migraine at age 16, with one lasting 41 days. They are currently under control with prophalactic meds. I still get very severe headaches during mestruation, and we have since discovered that I have a small cyst in my midbrain.
About a year ago I was diagnosed with a spondylolisthesis- L5 has separated from my sacrum and is slipping forward. I also have a torn rotator cuff.
I've had asthma since age 3. It was severe when I was little and now it just reacts to triggers.
Had short 4 month spat w/ anorexia bout 4 years ago. Now it just comes when I get really depressed...it's my way of exhibiting "look at what I can do, look at what I can make my body do ..." I only relapse when I feel out of control of my life, and then I get a grip.
Fiance had a stroke during surgery to relieve increased ICP after TBI.
