About Me
I am a wife and mother of three--7 yr old son and two daughters 6 yrs and 18 months. They are everything that is beautiful and real in my life. I'm trying to straighten my life up to be the best example and the best mom that I can be. I've struggled with many issues, including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse for the majority of my life. I am ready to embrace life, instead of hiding from it.

Yes, Thank you so. I lost my first wife to a brain tumor at the age of 39. I never thought I'd get over it. I got married again right away, I think I was not ion my right mind, you know? That ended in divorce. I was alone so many years, had to go through so much. But I believe God blessed me with my Colleen! Now I have a family of 22 and I had no one before. Colleen is so wonderful. She is a dear to everyone who meets her! Thank you again! Wally

My weight has yo-yo'd all over the place for ten years now. Although I've typically stayed at a healthy weight, I've just had my third child, and I put on max pregnancy pounds. I'm fat and miserable--looking to change that. I don't want the life of a fat person. I'm tired of people looking through me instead of at me.
Treatments
- Counting Calories Working / Worked
- Keeps me accountable, worked--but binging stopped progress.
- Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
- I love healthy foods. I just can't seem to stick with them.
- Eat Less Somewhat Helpful
- Simply making sure I was eating the correct portion really cut down on how much ate.
- Hoodia Not Working
- I've heard wonders about this. Hoodia does dampen my appetite a little, but it puts me in this horribly bad mood. And it makes me feel physically terrible. I've heard of it working for other people.
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- Always works. Always improves my mood, helps my depression, and helps me sleep. Sticking with a fitness program is the problem.
- Slim-Fast Working / Worked
- Worked in the past--I was younger--I get too hungry using it now.
- Weight Watchers Working / Worked
- Definitely aids in weight loss. Would be a great program for me if I could get past binging.
Close Financial Challenges
Family of five with three pet :) It's hard taking care of all these folks!

- Has helped my financial situation stay a little more stable.
- Holding a Garage Sale Somewhat Helpful
- This has given me a little extra money here and there, but overall it hasn't done much for our financial situation.
