20+ years living with anxiety and panic...
Treatments
- Lexapro Too Soon to Tell
- Just started taking it today and am feeling panic...seems normal in the beginning to have increased anxiety
- Paxil Not Working
- It seemed to quit working for me after two months
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- I LOVED this medicine. Now, however, I have high blood pressure and that is one of the side effects so I am no longer using it.
Close High Blood Pressure
Was diagnosed with high blood pressure 6 weeks ago and it is very scary for me.
Treatments
- Atenolol Working / Worked
- it didn't work at first but then they added Diovan and it seems to be working
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Too Soon to Tell
- I haven't eaten anything with sodium content over 200...wish I would have done it sooner
- Valsartan Working / Worked
- It seems to be helping
Open Panic Attacks
I have had panic attacks since I was 19 - right after my father died. 20+ years...I have had periods of months without them, but they always come back.

- Paxil Not Working
- Quit working after about 2 months
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked

- It makes me sleep, which makes them go away.

I was just diagnosed with acid reflux a couple days ago although I have been hurting for a couple weeks...I can't believe how painful this is!
