It's been 1 1/2 years and I still can't believe this has happened to us. He's always been a good kid, never in trouble. He got married in Oct. 05' and then his wife left him 3 days before their 1 yr. anniversary. That really hurt him. He meets this "Party Girl" who does all types of drugs which we find out after this whole thing is overwith and him and her start taking Oxycontin in Nov. 07'. Steven ended up robbing a Walgreen's to get the Oxy, evaded the police, and then hid in a house hoping he could get away from the police again. Obviously he wasn't in his right mind. The DA has been going after him from the very beginning. The DA even charged him with another robbery which happened in Feb. 08. The robbery he is convicted of was done on May 10th 08'. The judge threw the book at Steven. I hope you're sitting down when I tell you his sentence. He was sentenced to 27 years to Life. The PSI report said about 1/2 of that amount of time. There's something not right here. He did rob the Walgreen's with a gun and plus he had the gun when he hid in the peoples house. My husband and I are both 58 now and I doubt that I'll be alive in 27 yrs. if he really has to serve the full 27 years. I told my son that I'm going to take this 5 years at a time and see what happens in each 5 years. I'm not giving up, I'm going to write to whoever and watch for any changes in the law to see if he can get out earlier. Even the people in prison with him thinks that he surely killed someone to get that long of a sentence. Almost everyday I think to myself, "this really can't be happening to us." Just wanted to give you a little more background on what happened in his case. Take Care. Georgia

Grew up in an alcoholic home. started with narcotics later in life. Quit that habit but started using alcohol. I go to meetingsm have a sponser but it seems like I need more which is why I am here.

was a drug addict but beat that problem, then I turned to alcohol. Been sober for one year.

- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- Stil attend and enjoy the support of the members which has helped. I have a sponser and we are good friends.

- It worked. I had good counseling while detoxing and good meds to help me.
- Outpatient Treatment Program Working / Worked
- after detox I went into Intensive outpatient teatment program for 3 weeks and it taught me how to live a life of sobriety.
Open Impotence & Erectile Dysfunction
High Blood pressure meds cause erectile dysfuntion in me but viagra works well

- It works but the potency is shortlived so sex has to be planned. The pill is expensive which most insurances will not pay for.
