Close Eating Disorders
Type: BulimiaI am a 31 y/o man who has battled bulemia for 11 years. It is difficult for me, as man to find support groups because do not want men there, I would really like to find a place where the members, who will be mostly women, can realize this affects men also.
Treatments
- Lexapro Not Working
- Battled depression, has a minimal affect
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I was in therapy for 4 months, it helped greatly, but I moved and have not began seeing a new therapist.
- Zoloft Not Working
- I thought I was going to jump off a building when I took this medicine.
- Effexor Working / Worked
- This worked great, I stopped taking once my depression improved. I am not longer depressed, but I am still battling the bulemia.
