Im 18 years old. In December of 2006 I was raped by my Grandfather. I told aunt, she told my uncle but neither belive me. Out of all my friends that know they all say that they belive me and try to offer support but they dont really understand. I went thru the whole process with CPS and the Police but they didn't do anything at all. I was in therapy for the last year but finished in April.

I just got over it today-it wasn't the h1n1 but I was sick longer than I usually get sick (5 days and i'm usually over it) as I was sick for almost two weeks this time.

Close Sexual Abuse
I am a victim of rape. All of my mom's side of the family belive that im lying (her dad was my attacker). I have delt with alot of outlash and namecalling from her family. I honestly don't care what they think of me anymore. I know what happened to me and I have people that belive me and that is what matters most of all. I came here looking for help coping and dealing with it along with understanding and support.

- I leave when ever I get overwelmed with something it reminds me that I have all the power in my life and that no one else controls it.

- I love listing to music when ever things become to much. I go off into my own little world.

- It works alot. I use it to get all my frustration and anger out when it all gets to be to much. I am in total control when I run. I get reminded that I have all the power.

- It really helps to talk to people who understand what I am going thru

- It helps alot. It helps to know that people understand and others have gone thru the same thing.

- It helps alot. I have learned how to handle alot of things. It some times triggers flashbacks but there getting less and less. I can't read alot at one because it becomes to much.
