I did it! I got some financial aid and now I'm back in school, taking 10 credits. I've only had to miss one so far, because my poor stomach …
I'm 25 and married for 4 years. My husband and I live in Michigan with our 2 cats. No kids yet, but we've been ttc for 3 years. I love to go out and have fun - it doesn't really matter what I'm doing as long as I'm laughing and having a good time. The small-town way of life is my favorite, I can't live in a city. My Polish heritage becomes more obvious as you get to know me. ;) I love to scrapbook, but unfortunately I don't have a creative mind. Carnivals are my obsession. I'm a housewife and a full time student majoring in psychology. I've been suffering from GI problems (gerd and ibs) ever since I had a bad case of food poisoning in march '08. I'm hoping to find people who understand what I'm going through, since no one I know in "real life" seems to have any idea.

Diagnosed with GAD and PD at 17, after suffering with them for years. Took Effexor xr for a year, and have been okay ever since until I got sick with GI issues. Now my anxiety is worse again, and I'm considering going back on the meds, in hopes that it will help not only my anxiety disorders but also my GI issues (which are made worse by my anxiety).
I have had panic symptoms since I was 8, and I had my first full panic attack when I was 16. They got gradually worse, and affected my school, job, and social life. I was diagnosed with panic disorder when I was 17.
We've been trying to conceive since December 2005. My husband finally went in for a semen analysis and found out that he has a low sperm count and very abnormal morphology. Our chances of conceiving naturally are very low, but treatments are expensive and we're not rich. We're just trying to take things day by day and hope for the best.
I originally had a dx of gastritis, and was put on prevacid which gave me horrible acid reflux and heartburn. Then I took zegerid which took care of my gastritis symptoms. I've since been to 2 GI doctors and gotten a dx of GERD and IBS. Some days it's so unbearable I can hardly get out of bed. Other days, I hardly notice I have it. I've been on 3 ppi's and an h2 blocker, but now am just taking otc meds to control it.
I've had bowel issues since childhood, when I would hold my bm's for days at a time. Recently got an official dx of IBS after seeing a GI doctor for gastritis, a possible ulcer, and GERD. It's manageable, but seems to have gotten worse since I've had GERD.
