I have a problem with gambling that I have been struggling with since 1998. I pray that the lord will help me overcome and I will be the person that I once was.

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionHi, my name is Phycillia. Ive been suffering from depression for quite some time. I guess it probably started when I started having problems with my ex husband. Any way, I,ve been on medication for a long time. At first the medicine seemed to be doing ok. Now I don't think it's quite as effective. Not only do I suffer from depression, I also have been diagnosed with a compulsive gambling disorder which adds to the problems that already exist.
Treatments
- Prozac Working / Worked
- When I first started taking this medicine it worked fine. Now I don't think It's working quite as well.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- Right now, I haven't had my medication for about 3 weeks. I don't know if it was really working or not because I haven't been on it that long.
- Writing Working / Worked
- Actually I just really starting writing on line. I feel that maybe it will be helpful. I don't have insurance and can't get to counceling sessions right now. Maybe this will do me some good. It certainly can't hurt.
