moved back to kansas in late december. it tis really good to be around family. i have a new job, that pays almost as much as the one i left. it's been difficult, but it's getting better. my daughter is living with me now, and i found out i'm going to be a grandpa. cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just moved to south texas. i had high hopes of starting a new life here. since my arrival here, i havent met anyone nice. it seems that unless you are spending money, noone cares about you. this is a tourist mecca. jobs pay barely above min. wage. i am afraid that if something doesnt change pretty soon, i am going to loose everything. i left a good job, home, and kids to come down here, and i think it was the biggest mistake of my life.
