I have had panic attacks for way too long but recently my attitude has been totally changing around. If you don't pay it too much attention it goes away on it's own. I use to dread calling 911 or going to the ER, it's the most scary and humilating experience one can have. My entire goal is to be myself again. Living a life full of passion and love. I have no time for negativety even though the world is full of it and it spreads like wild fire. In my mind I am catching on to what life has to offer and use that to my advantage. Panic, worry, dreading another bad day something I lived and desire so much not put that behind me. It's not easy as 1-2-3 but it does take a concious mind and effort to take baby steps if need be and move forward to attaining that goal. Living in fear of panic has put my life on hold....I for one am sick of it. One thing I learned is that we do things out of desperation or inspiration and I am extremely inspired to make a shift towards freedom.....cause that's what it's all really about, FREEDOM.

Too many to list. But just to name a few... I love Tony Robbins, Dr. Phil, Dr. Wayne Dyer and Dr. Claire Weekes. I read a lot. I love very nice and upscale restuarant's. Lobster tail and filet mignon is my fav. I like to sit back and watch movies on HDTV. I love the sun and I worship it. I like to walk on the treadmill and also swim at least 2 times per week. My tv shows I like are Boston Legal, Law & Order, Jay Leno, Las Vegas, Joel Osteen and UFC. I have more interests but too long to list here.

I understand what you are saying as I have achieved my goals before with the panic. I do the deep breathing and positive statements and it helps. Around 8 months ago I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and the word you used for high heart rate. My sitting heart rate stays around 90. When I get an attack it goes up to 120's-130's and blood pressure goes up. So this time around I am so scared I am going to have a heart attack. I have been dieting but haven't lost much weight. I can work out for 15 min. and heart rate goes up. I can be just watching t.v. and start having an attack. I am suppose to go to the Mental Health Center tomorrow and am scared to go but need to. I don't want this to control my life. I never thought I would have to go through this again. I think it is so great how you are not allowing this to control your life. I have kids and its hard because I afraid of having an attack while driving with them in the car and have an accident. Good Luck to you and you can achieve your goals and I hope I can too. I did before but I was hospitalized for 6 weeks and concentrate just on me and getter better without all the stressors everyday can cause.
the anxiety...it is a real pain in the neck...i know what it is like. I suffer from GAD. I did not have this before I really got sick....

My anxiety is getting better and better. The key to overcoming anxiety or any form of a panic attack is to acknowledge that this too shall pass and that it is not dangerous in anyway shape or form.
