There are lots of people out there that are sharing their amazing success stories about Myasthenia, it's true becasue I am one of them. But what …
I'm in school about to graduate with my BS in Sociology. I am active in my church as the Youth leader. Myasthenia has been in my life since I was 13, there's been rough times and trust I've been through it all. if it wasn't for the positive engery that I have established for myself I would still be sad, struggling and letting this illness get the best of me. But guess what, everything has an ending. I just had to make sure that I looked foward to it. Everytime I would feel bad or my MG was at its worst I told myself this is good becasue it has to get worse before it gets better and when it gets worse, I know that it means to look foward to better days.

Mya WHAT?? That's what I said at the age of 13 when I was diagnosed. I've been through it all, I tried everything, as long as someone said it I did it. But then I realized Mg is just a very long cold. You just got to treat it and let it go away on its own. I've struggled alot but that's becasue I didn't take the time to understand my illness and learn how to make it better. My first step was to accept it. Once I did that, little by little I found ways of healing myself. Guess what, we all can.
