I am trying to cope with this disease as best I can. I also have sarcoidosis along with everything else. But God keeps me going, and for that I am very thankful. Courage doesn't always roar. 48-year-old, here, too, from SC! Thank you so much for the lovely quote. I'll be sure to remember it and commit it to my memory! I think one thing that helps SO much is to find others with sarcoidosis and share your experiences. To me it's comforting to see that my situations is not different than others. You're in a good place!

was diagnosed in 1991. went into remission but then it came back with a vengence. I have it not only in my lungs, but it has caused nerve damage in one leg as well as having impaved my eyesight. I am a radiological stage 3, according to the latest CAT scan.
Treatments
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- I have been taking Immuran for years. During the first year on it my hair all feel out, but did grow back. I really have not had many side effects, except that I have to stay away from anyone who has anything contagious, as my immune system is very compromised.
