Journal Entry for July 7, 2008
Today was a bit day at my house. My step son Dallas got to meet his daughter for the very first time, she is 11 months old.
To make this …
I have arthritis and fibromyalgia and have not been able to work in 6 years. My husband also has FM/CFS, that is a very good thing (not that we are ill) but that we understand what the other is going through and are very considerate of each other. We don't always have the same bad days or good, but we know what the other needs in these times. I worked in real estate, property management and later hotel management before having to give up my career. I spend a lot of time on my computer as I say all my friends live in this little box. I am very creative, a published poet and love anything outdoors. I am looking for support and also making lots of new friends.

It seems like only yesterday that he was spending a week or two with me each summer and we would go fishing.

To some of you this may not seem incredible, but for some like me it has made me a true believer in my heavenly father, not that I wasn't …
Today I invited Tom and Mary over to BBQ at lunch. We met them on a support group a couple months back. They are like us, he has CFS like …
Hey girl , haven't heard from you in awhile, I sure hope you are alright. Still putting up with my broken rib, will be glad when all that is over. My problem is that I don't sleep at night sleep some during the day, boy I am mixed up on what time it is most of the time. What have you been up too. I hope you are not as depressed as you were the last time I wrote. Please keep in touch with me. I love talking to you seems like I have known you forever. Anyhow dear friend take care of yourself and may God Bless You, Rachel
Pat
I hope this fines you better and in good spirits. I think about you often, wished we lived closer we really could help each other out. Well I have a broken rib of all things, boy does it hurt. Nothing they can do about it. Just can't do anything, but that really don't matter anyhow, I have been so tired lately and sleep a lot during the day. Oh enough about me. Hows the world been treating you? I do hope you are feeling much better then you did when we last wrote to each other. Just been having rain and storms here, bad enough that trees have been uprooted, people have been without power for awhile, roof tops blown off, but I never heard them call it a tornado. I will keep you in my prayers, please keep me in your prayers. Know that I will think of you. Lots of Love, Rachel
Pat I am so sorry for your loss. I know all about losing someone, especially if you are close. It can be very depressing, but please don't stay there, she would not have wanted you too. Her words would probably be move on Pat, I will always be in your heart. It is so nice to have fond memories that you can look back on, and one day when time has passed you will remember those times. I sure have missed you. I was wondering what happened. If you want to write to me at my email address it is annfinnegan46@yahoo.com. Please know that you are in my prayers always. I to have been fighting that fibro fog. It is awful I didn't get up till 1:30 p.m, course I didn't go to bed that morning till 4:00 a.m., and then I took two more naps that day. I just don't have any get up and go. Going somewhere just tires me out. Well enough on that subject. We have been getting lots of rain here, talking about rain this weekend. But now it is partly cloudy but the sun is trying to show its face. People here all planted gardens, and they all rotted because of so much rain. I am just going to plant some tomatoes and pepper plants in big containers. I was going to do this sometime this weekend but if it rains I will put it off because it will just drown them. Well take care, and please keep in touch. It really is awful when you are thinking of someone and can't get in touch with them. I do hope you get to feeling better. Love Rachel
Pat I hope you have a lovely Mother's Day. I am sending you flowers. Hope they arrive smelling good. How have you been? Miss talking to you, but seems like I am always doing something else, that really don't amount to anything. But it seems like I never get around to doing the things I should. I do hope you have been well. It is awful here today, dark, dreary, and raining. We have had so much rain that you can't even walk in the yard without sinking, people who planted gardens everything has rotted. Depressing. Well my friend I hope all is good with you. Take care, Love and Hugs, Rachel

I live in WA with my husband Bill and my spoiled Mini Pinscher. I have FM, CFS, arthritis and now some type of muscle problems they cannot seem to recognize. I am a psychology major, published poet, and I love the outdoors and mountains. I love making friends but don't get out much since I moved here 3 years ago so most of my friends live in this little box called my computer.
I just signed up for Weight Watchers and want to lose about 35-40 pounds. I hope to meet others here for the same reason.
