Hi Everyone,
I have the MRI of the neck (cervical spine) set for Friday Dec. 19th at 1:30PM Central Time, with arrival at 1 PM. Hopefully they can find out exactly what's wrong and what needs to be done to correct it. They are going to be looking for bulging or ruptured discs, torn ligaments and torn tendons, to see if any of these are resent in the neck, especially the lower neck where the greatest pain is. I hope they don't find any of those things and that it remains just stretched and inflamed muscle tissue in the neck. We will see. I will update everyone again once I have the test and find out the results. Please keep me in prayer that they can find out what's going on, because as of now, its literally a royal pain in the neck as well as being a pain somewhere else.
Hope everyone has a super day and week this week and is able to stay warm. Here in Wisconsin we are expected to have temps in the singe digits above zero with gusty winds causing windshield factors to dip to 20-30 below zero. Brr. So much for global warming.
Santa enjoys this type of weather though, gets the blood flowing better in his veins.
Terry

Terry, of course you will be in my prayers. I know that the cold weather doesnt help alot. my hubby has had 2 lower back surgeries (L4, L5, S1), and injections in his neck after a car accident in 2001. His back surgeries were for bulging and ruptured discs.
We got some snow last night, and expect more today and again on Wednesday. We usually only get snow about 2 times a year at the lower elevations, and it doesn't stay long. Spoiled Californians... :)
Have a good day! Hugs, Karen
