Today I came out of my day teaching 7th grade social studies the way that Harry Wong says you should. I felt energetic and cheerful. What a wonderful day! I feel so proud. The students were on task and quiet in every class all day long. Wow! I told the students my expectations and my consequences first thing and it seemed to work really well with some enforcing of course. I'm hoping this is the beginning of a new and more rewarding era for me in my subbing.
