I am going in for surgery on a disc in my neck. It hurts. It doesn't help my depression.

Hi.I'm good. Not much going on here. We're going to go to town today and mow a few yards. I'm getting excited about Christmas. For Thanksgiving we're going to go down to Mike's dads place. That will be fun. His dad makes killer cornbread stuffing. For Christmas Livy want's to turn Jonah's shop into a man cave so I'm going to make curtains and get posters and stuff for it. She's going to get him a TV so he can watch his football out there. He LOVES the Dallas Cowboys so that will be the theme. I'm doing good on my meds, my lithium isn't up to therapuetic levels so that's why my doc was thinking about raising it. But I feel good. Like I said, not much going on here. Hi. You sound good. YAY! I put my tree up. I know it's early but I LOVE christmas. Today we helped Mike's dad and sister cut down a tree and stack all the wood. Phew! I got a workout. I'm sure I'll feel it tomorrow. Today I saw my pdoc and it went well. He wants to up my lithium because I still get a little manicky, so I've got labs next week and he'll assess my levels and see if he wants to increase the lithium. God I love lithium. After that we stopped by Liv's and that little darling gave me some Ghirradelli coffees. She's so thoughtful. She had to go into work for a little while this evening after the massacre at Ft. Hood. They had the hospital on lockdown and they had 5 people in the ER and 4 in the OR. She got to come home relatively soon so that was good. Such an awful thing to happen. This world nowadays worries me. I hope you get some time off pretty soon. Don't work yourself too hard. I think you're amazing for getting back to work so soon after your ordeal. You Go Girl! We got home last nite and the little dog had chewed up Mike's mouse. He was not happy but luckily we had an extra one so he could still get online. He was mad at her for a little while but they had puppy kisses and made up. She's a firecracker. It's like having a toddler and having to childproof everything. But she's just so darn cute that you can't stay mad at her. I'm going to close for now and wish you a nice evening. Write when you can. Hugs, Cheryl

Hi. I'm doing great. The weather here is soooo beautiful right now. You said your roommate is from a little town outside of Tucson. I used to live in Catalina many years ago and I loved it. Desert for miles and so quiet. Today we're going to basket up some of our pidgeons and take them a couple of miles away and let them go. I get a little nervous when we do that because of the possibility of losing some birds, but we have to do it in order to train them to fly long distances. We want to be able to take them 50 miles out so ot's kind of exciting but scary, too. I'm happy you're doing so well. You went thru a life changing ordeal and you came out of it so well. Yay! How's Ash? Is she going to be able to come home for Thanksgiving? I hope you two have great holidays together. Liv and Jonah are doing great. For christmas, she's going to turn their storage room into a man cave for him. I'm going to make curtains and she's going to get him a tv and recliner to go in it. He'll be so knocked out. Went to target yesterday (sorry walmart) and they had the cutest outfits for little girls. They had Hello kitty socks for a dollar a pair. I got christmas shopping to do. goody. All of our pups are good. We're in the process of building cages for them so we can have our yard back. They are hole diggers and that can be discouraging . After we get them caged, we have to haul in some dirt to fill the holes. They can't help it , they're dogs. But never the less, we have to reclaim the yard. I guess I better get busy. I've got plenty to do today. More fall cleaning. Write when you can and have a great day. Cheryl

Hi. Gee you sound fabulous! Sounds like you have a great roommate, too.That's cool she and Ashley will get to go riding. Work here is slowing down. I'm ready for a vacation. I've got to get some hay for the doghouses so my pups will stay warm. It's supposed to be cold and wet this winter according to the almanac. We got a sweater for our little dog. She's so adorable in it. She could wear a paper sack and be just as cute. My oldest granddaughter had the flu but it only lasted a couple of days. She's fine now. Wasn't the swine flu.. It.s so good to know you are doing so well. I'm happy for you. Write when you feel like it and have a wonderful day. Cheryl
