Okay, WEll. Three days out from the infusion, and starting to feel much better. STARTING. I am so cuatiously optomostic …

I have been having different health problems over the last year and they have gotten progressively worse. I have been seen at the Heart Hospital three times this year thinking I was having a heart attack. Went to Dr. After Dr. and told my heart was fine however I was anemic. Moderate to Sever. Yet no one cold tell me why. They just gave me prescribed vitemans that were high in B12 and Iron. I started having shortness of breath, extreme fatigue, numbness in my left arm, aching in my lower legs and feet, anxiety attacks, brain fog etc. No one could tell me what was going on. I finally talked to the school nurse who had a friend that was an internal specialist. This doctor hit the roof and sent me directly to a hematologist. The hematologist did a HUGE panel and I should know some results today, but has now prescribed an iron infusion and I am freaking out due to all of the possible side effects and possible life time trips to the oncology clinic. I am only 34 and did all of this to HELP myself, not hurt myself. Newly married it now looks as if there is a possibility I may never be able to have children on my own. I had a gastric bypass almost six years ago and the doctors are thinking my problems are due to this. so I am pretty depressed right now. Like I said above I should know today what my blood work looks like. It there is anyone that knows ANYTHING about this I would love the input.

Type: Iron Deficiency AnemiaPlease read my bio. I think I told everything in it. Short and Long of the deal is I am a 34 yr old newly wed that has had symptoms of sever anemia for over a year. I had a GB in 2004 and lost 110 pounds. I have been to ten million dr's it seems and FINALLY am in the right place. I saw a hematologist and am scheduled for an iron infusion on Tuesday. I am really freaked out and need any information that you guys can give. Blood work for total panel should be back this afternoon.
Close Gastric Bypass Surgery
Much Like Charlene. I had a GB in June of 2004. Lost 110 pounds and over the last two years have bounced and bobbled my way back to gaining about 35 pounds back. Totally mortified. ALONG with this, I have been severely anemic so bad that I had to have an infusion last week. So that is PART of the problem, but mainly the exercise and lack of a support system in peers. Hopefully you guys can help me out. Thanks for reading and I welcome any and all advice and help.
