I still to this day talk to her. especially in my car. people passing by probably think that I am crazy talking to myself... lol.. i don't care. i feel close to my mom and i really feel like she is somewhere listening to me. Everything changes when our mothers die. But we have to hold our head up high and know that our mothers wouldn't want us to be down and depressed forever over them but to stand up tall and do the best we can in life. They are just waiting on the other side until it is our time and then we will see them again. In the mean time, be all that you can be... for you as well as your mother.

i understand. my mom died by suicide when i was just 10. i am going to be 36 this year. The feelings come and go. I still miss my mom some days more than others. the new baby being born... my wedding.... my children not having a grandmother to go to for cookies and milk. over time the pain does subside but it doesn't go away. but you learn to deal with it in your own way. my way was to pray to god and then pretend that i was on the phone with god and ask to speak to my mom. and then i would spill my heart out to her about everything going on in my life. it really seemed to help me cope with the lost.

I can truly empathize with your feelings of despair. It seems that you can see no end in sight to these horrible feelings you're having, but I assure you that there is hope. Even if medication does not work, there is a way. And it sounds like you have some people around you who are dedicated to helping you find that way.
