I was diagnosed officially with PCOS in October 2007, although looking back, I have exhibited symptoms since I was about 15 years old. The weight gain didn't start until about 5 years ago and I always attributed it to being "happily married." My husband and I have been seeking treatment with a fertility specialist since October.
