Hug
Thank you. I'm in such a quandry. My doctor says I'm a good candidate for PD but my house is always dusty, and I have little room for supplies. Compound that with a brother-in-law on dyalisis who swears by HD. I'm more confused as to which way to go.

Husband is 90, going on 91, has dementia and is an alcholic.

Type: B-cellI have CLL. I also have chronic kidney failure, not connedted to the CLL.
Open Dialysis
I have CKD stage 4. Really no symptoms except for itching and fatigue. I had acute renal failure a couple of weeks ago from a reaction to ACE inhibitors. My GFR went down to 2..the creatinine was 37. Was in ICU for a week and hospitalized for two weeks. My kidneys recovered to 19%. I went to a dialysis class and also have joined NKF. If I ever need dialysis, I think that home hemo would be my choice. I got my kidney failure because of low blood pressure.
Open Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI started with 'panic attacks' then developed depression. I over-dosed two times.
