Without a friend to call my own what would my poor heart do? Without a friend to cheer me up I'd remain so sad and blue. Without a friend to make me smile a frown would rule my face. Without a friend I'd be so lonely here in this human race. Without a friend I could not live because life I could not share. So friend I'm thankful that I have you and I'm glad you're always there. Close Fibromyalgia
I have DJD and after recovering from a hip replacement noticed....anyway was dx. w/fibro 8 yrs ago. I treat my self after a doctor gave me a book on Fibromyalgia seems that xanax and flexerill taken at h.s. will let me sleep all nite long.

- Acupuncture Somewhat Helpful
- Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
- combine with xanax for a good nite's sleep.
- Neurontin Not Working

am 58. car accident age 42; 1989 cld no longer work in nursing due to symptoms. Hip replacement 2001.
Treatments
- Acupressure Somewhat Helpful
- had to give it up as I cldnt drive the 100 mi. rd trip 2-3x's a wk.
- Daypro Not Working
- never helped.
- Ibuprofen Somewhat Helpful
- needed STRONGER nsaid thru doctor.
- Naproxen Somewhat Helpful
- took so many yrs. it no longer helped.
- Pain Management Clinic Not Working
- 1994 told me my pain was "in my head".. I never went back.
- Surgery, Knee Replacement Working / Worked
- hip replacement. Painfree in hip now for 8 yrs.
- Swimming Somewhat Helpful
- nearest Y is 30 miles away..but it did help to sooth my muscles. We got a hot-tub for home.
- Vioxx Working / Worked
- I was on Vioxx for 5 years when they pulled it off the market. It was my miracle drug! now the aches and pain and stiffness greet me ea. morning.
