No choice Firefox freezes up and Google does not!
And I want to be able to cruise thru DS everyday with no glitches!

In my case I have to use Firefox as Chrome is slower than a wet week now. Used to be the best one but now it is Firefox. Strange about that.

Yes it is odd Marg. When your Google Chrome works good, mine doesn't and when mine does yours doesn't!
Wendy,,,,I have been there! Last two years up until about 6 months ago mine crashed everyday. Never did a day pass I did not want to throw mine out the window. Just like the commercial where they throw their computer out of the top window of a 2 story house because he just can not take it anymore....that was me!LOL!
We just keep trying and somehow find a way to come here that works!

Yes it is really strange. I had to switch back to Firefox last week as Chrome was doing really strange things. I have not gone back and tried it since. Maybe I should just take my own advice and remove it and download and install it again.

I remembered reading this and wanted to note that Internet Explorer 7 was fine, 8 on the otherhand, freezes up a lot. Just started using 8 last week. So, add that to the choice list. :)

Right! I loved 7 no problems at all...makes you wonder if the newest is best or wait until you find out how others like it. Thanks for the reminder!

I have IE 8 and it works fine, at least the little I use it. I have only had Firefox freeze up on me once (today) and I think it might have been our sustem rather than Firefox.
With Microsoft I have heard this quite often. Use the older system for some time until they have worked out the bugs in the new ones. It seems they (like DS?) tend to rush out the new you-beaut program out and test it on us rather than testing thoroughly BEFORE they put it out there. Happened esp with Windows '98 - hence the SE program that we needed to buy to fix their problems. As you might gather I am NOT a fan of Microsoft. The "drvil" we have little option but to live with it seems.
