Well, I've been taking the Cymbalta for about 6-8 weeks now and maybe I'd be worse without it but it hasn't taken away the sciatica …
I'm married to my first love, we have 4 children and 8 grandbabies (had them while in kindergarten!). Love to be active and was a workout fanatic before back issues interfered. Still hoping to get some of that back.
Enjoy fishing (or anything outside), reading, gardening, traveling. Avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan - this IS our year!

Chronic back pain off & on since 1998, worse over past 6 yrs. Had discectomy in 2001 and had two level decompression May 15, L3/4 & L4/5. Worst complaint is bilateral leg pain - can no longer exercise, take walks, etc. Waiting to see if surgery helped.
I've suffered from sciatica for about 6 years; very debilitating. Have had 2 back surgeries, last one 10 days ago. Still having nerve pain in both legs and praying for relief from the surgery.
